I want to help a Yemeni friend I made in Airtripp!

I would like to raise some funds to financially support a friend from Yemen I met here in Airtripp.

My friend is being affected by Yemen's political crisis

I have a close friend from Yemen I met in Airtripp a while ago.

My friend, whose name is Saher, is married and he has a 3 years old boy. Unfortunately he is currently jobless.

His idea is to get a small bus or van to drive children to school for a living. In that way he would be able to support his family.

The crisis in Yemen

Yemen is suffering a political and financial crisis since 2011.

Water is also scarce and it's affecting to the harvest which means that food is not enough and millions of people are suffering from hungry. The situation is desperate.

To make matters worse, a civil war broke out in 2015.

Due to the war thousands of people have lost their life and millions had to leave their houses to run out the country. In 2017 there was also a big epidemic of cholera and the number of infected people has reached 800,000.

I can't help my friend alone

Lucky me, I got a job and I have a salary that allows me to take care of my family.

However, I'm raising alone 4 children and my monthly income is just enough to pay our daily expenses.

That's why I've decided to open a project in Airtripp Funding to be able to raise some funds for my friend Saher.

I would like to raise $1,000 that will be used by Saher to get a small bus. Thank you very much in advance for your support!

All the funds I collect will be given to Saher.

I really hope he can get enough to make his dream come true of working as a driver to support his family.

In case I can't collect enough funds I will keep trying to raise somewhere else. I will do my best to help a friend that is going through a lot!
