Verses from Mexico: A poet searches for his roots

Hello everyone,

I am Jorge, a young man passionate about the cultural roots of his country and thanks to this passion this project was born: a collection of poems that captures the scenery of Mexico and its ancient traditions. My dream is to visit all those beautiful states of the nation, immerse myself in their customs and listen to the ancestral stories of each corner.

I imagine myself in the cobbled alleys of Oaxaca, where masks give life to the forgotten gods or in the squares of Guanajuato, where legends are whispered in the shadows of the underground tunnels. I want to get lost in the mist of the forests of Chiapas, where the Zapatistas still resist with dignity, and let myself be carried by the wind that caresses the pyramids in Teotihuacán

My project is not only to write poems, but to live them, breathe them, feel them firsthand. I want to capture the scenery of Mexico in each verse, like an alchemist who transforms matter into gold

But to make this dream come true I need your support, I put in 5000 just to put in but all help will be appreciated and not mandatory as you know, I would use the funds to cover transportation costs if necessary food, artistic material and above all to give gifts to people who compare their lives and stories with me

The date is flexible as explained and it is possible that I start it this way with my own means to what I can afford. I am willing to wait as long as it takes to make this dream come true.
