Finally achieve a divorce from a violent and harmful couple

I married a Turkish man for love in 2014 in Istanbul, without imagining what was going to happen to me. It was a very controlling, jealous and complicated couple. However, I stayed and tried to save the marriage because I was young and believed in love. In 2018 we decided together to have a baby and in 2019 Elena was born. From the time I was 15 days old, my husband began to abuse me and it was the beginning of domestic violence that became hell. Without being a doctor and without ever having studied medicine, he controlled me with psychiatric medications behind my back, putting doses in my food and drinks. He ordered the medications illegally and even falsified prescriptions from psychiatrists in Istanbul in Photoshop. His obsession with medicating me and my daughter was so great that he spread it to his family and acquaintances. He prescribed high doses of Lithium and CBD. In November 2021, my partner's father committed suicide in his apartment due to depression. This cathartic and tragic moment gave birth to the in-laws' records of schizophrenia and depression. I discovered that my partner had lied to me and he had an addiction to Xanax and Valium before we met.

He didn't let me see my family for 6 years, he didn't let me go to my maternal grandmother's funeral in Mexico in 2022. Finally, after begging him, he let me go to Mexico on vacation with my daughter if I paid for the entire trip. Talking with my family I realized that I had to get a lawyer. No matter how much I begged my partner to divorce us in a peaceful and civilized manner for the sake of our daughter, he flatly refused. The meetings with my Turkish lawyer had to be secret, he presented all the evidence and he told me that he had a very strong case completely in my favor, but as a foreign mother I had many disadvantages. My partner began to be more violent at home and a stage began in which in front of my daughter he threatened to commit suicide, to throw himself out of the window and blame me for her suicide. In front of my daughter I broke things in the house, she hit me, she yelled at us, she locked herself in rooms saying that she no longer wanted to live. I decided to document each episode with my phone and ask her brothers for help. They didn't help me. Little by little I distanced myself, saving money, looking for a way out, getting closer to other victims of domestic violence, to the Catholic church, to the consulate of my country. In December 2023 my mother came to spend Christmas and New Year with us. My partner created a daily problem and a reason to fight with me, in front of my mother he behaved violently with me and my daughter. I decided it was time to put a stop to it, I hired a new lawyer, I reported him, I asked for help and finally after following all the protocol of the Turkish police and the consulate of my country in Istanbul, I managed to get on a plane to my family. with my daughter and my mother at the end of January 2024.

Today I continue fighting for my rights, for my freedom but above all for the well-being of my daughter who deserves a dignified and happy life.

My family has supported us in rebuilding our lives in Mexico, however, my partner refuses to finalize the divorce. He has sent us death threats and insults every day. Lawyer costs in Turkey and Mexico are very high and it is for this reason that I am asking for his help so that this nightmare ends and both my daughter and I find peace and tranquility.
