Funds to help my dad to heal his left arm, broken in an accident.

Hello! Very nice to meet you. My name is Iloegbunam Lilian Chizoba and I live in Anambra state, Nigeria.

My dad had an accident a while ago and he broke his arm. He needs to get surgery in order to completely heal.

My dad lost his job

In 2004 my dad had a bike accident where his left arm was severely injured.

When my dad was riding a motorcycle, he was hit by a car and fell inside a groove.

Since the accident he can't use correctly his left arm and that's the reason why he lost his job.

Since 2 years ago his condition is getting worse. His whole left side is getting thinner and he is totally hopeless.

Nearby hospitals have insufficient equipment

In order to reduce the pain, my dad is using herbal medicine, as it's the only thing we can afford.

Medical expenses are really expensive for us, especially without a health insurance, and if my dad wants to heal, he needs to go to a hospital with enough equipment.

My dad can't move his left arm so he is loosing his muscular strength. Without a remedy he could loose his arm forever.

I really need somebody to help my dad!

We can't afford a treatment

I'm working in a beauty salon and my monthly income is around $50.

My mum is a petty trader and her monthly income is not better than mine. As I explained, my dad is not currently working, so that is what we have.

I also have 2 younger sisters and 1 younger brother. It's really difficult for us to save money, as we're also paying for their school fees! With a lot of effort we have managed to save $250 in more than 2 years!

My dad needs surgery and rehabilitation, but any near hospital is enough, so we should go to a big hospital far away from our city, maybe even outside our country.

Details on needed funds

I really need collaboration to raise $1,550 to pay the surgery and the rehabilitation for my dad. We will try to save up to $400 until the day of the surgery by ourselves.

Schedule

As soon as I have enough funds I will take my dad to a good hospital so he can receive the surgery. I would like this to be possible within half a year.

After the surgery my dad should do rehabilitation and training until fully recover his arm mobility.Then, he will be able to work again!
