I’m a Thai student with the American dream. By dream I meant to have a chance to be educated in high rank institutes in United States. My first application was denied as my educational background did not fit master degree in Art History.
I consulted with many Thai institutes and got an offer from George Mason University, Virginia, for master degree in management.
My dream is to be something related art. Art is passion but my skills didn’t think so. I would love a career path involving art.
I have tried so hard to getting myself ready for the next chapter of my life. I did all the tests, researched all about studying aboard, visas, went to several seminars, and even look for a dorm to stay if I had gotten in!
My family is not poor but we do have huge medical bills since me and my mother are the only 2 peopl who can work in the family of 6. The other 4 members are experiencing their own medical issues which fortunate for us that they can still take care of themselves. We are able to pay all the bills but we don’t have enough to save up for my education.
I’m not asking much a little bit because it’s very urgent since I need to pay $2000 to accept the offer from the university to guarantee my seat. The rest I will work very hard and save up for them.
I’m working full time and I got a second job as a tutor and I do freelance translating documents. If i have some time on weekend I go and sell my clothes at the near by market. If you decided to donate for me, Thank you very much for giving me a chance to pursue my dream, if someday I made it, I would love to meet and thank you in person.
