Travel to Korea and make my dream come true

Hello everyone! My name is Claudia but I also have a Korean name, as most of my friends call me Kim Bomi!

I am from Indonesia and I work as a public government employee in a public health center at Tobelo. Nice to meet you!

I love korea and its culture

Back to when I was studying at University, I never imagined that I will love South Korea, as I wasn't interested at first.

But then my sister made me watch a Korean variety show called “Running man”

Time by time I started to have interest in Korea and I watched various types of Korean dramas and variety shows!

My interest starting to grow bigger since I started to use Airtripp as I was able to made Korean friends.

I assume them as my own family already, such as my uncle, my aunt and my precious friends.

We exchanged our personal contact and we started to talk and share a lot of each other's culture and tradition through there. Sometimes we also exchanged gifts too!

Why do I want to go to Korea?

I never expected that I could make such wonderful and close friends through an application.

On 25th of October it's my birthday, and I want to give myself a good present: to travel abroad on December. I have never been abroad before!

I also want to meet my precious friend there while learning their culture! I want to see with my own eyes the same scenery of the pictures that my friends always show to me!

My saving is not enough

Event though I'm able to save some money, it is only a little. I'm helping my sister's business of building a boarding house and I also send a big amount of my own salary to my 2 younger sisters for school. So the rest of my salary can only be used to cover my daily necessities.

Even though travelling to Korea is not my priority, I really want to be able to meet my Korean friends there! I hope you can help me to achieve my dream!

Details on needed funds

I will use my savings to processed the passport, visa and the transportation fee to Jakarta to apply for the visa. I would like to use some of your support to purchase the flight ticket, and to afford the accommodation during my 2 weeks of staying.

・Visa and passport and accommodation in Jakarta to apply for a visa will be paid with my own own saving: $500

・Flight ticket (Ambon-Korea round trip): $900

・Accommodation for 2 weeks: $300

・Transportation: $200

・Souvenirs: $100

Schedule

If everything is okay, I would like to go to Korea and celebrate Christmas there with my Korean friends all together. That's why my deadline to raising funds is in November, so I have enough time to process my visa and passport before the trip.

If it doesn't go as planned, I think I will relocate the funds I collect to help my sister's business to build a boarding house. And when the boarding house is completed, I will have a chance to boost my saving to travel to Korea! Thank you co much for your support!
